Welcome to Ian – our new Town Ranger!

In his first week he has litter-picked Wheelock Street every day, as well as Hightown and the Bullring.

In these photos you can see what short work he’s made of the overgrown cut through between Manor Fields and Long Lane. This route, as well as looking better, is now much more accessible, especially if you have a pushchair. He’s also tackling the cut through between Coronation Road and Queen’s Drive. Not bad for a week in the job!

Ian is local and is familiar with many of the “grot spots” around town. These will be receiving his attention in the coming weeks.
