Local Middlewich Businesses Sponsor Tour of Britain
Middlewich Town Council continue their support of Stage 3 of The Tour of Britain on 6th September, which is estimated to have the first cars arrive in Middlewich soon after Midday.
With teams participating from all over the world, including Olympic winners Team GB and Team Wiggins, the day is a proud moment for Middlewich to showcase the town to the rest of the UK and beyond through the scheduled TV coverage. To celebrate the event, Signal Radio will host a roadshow at the Bull Ring in Middlewich starting from 11am..
Middlewich based businesses, have come together to help promote the event with South Cheshire Print proudly sponsoring banners around the town, Hero Renewables sponsoring ‘welcome’ and ‘farewell’ banners and Bare Bones Marketing providing complimentary marketing, PR and digital services.
Middlewich Town Clerk, Jonathan Williams states, “We are very thankful for the support the local, this is great opportunity for Middlewich and our business community to take the opportunity to promote themselves to the rest of the UK.” Jonathan continues, “We would still like to hear from more local business for prizes and competitions so we can promote them to the thousands of visitors expected to visit Middlewich.”

Official organisers of The Tour of Britain have advised that the race will be filmed from helicopter from 12pm onwards so there is a good probability that Middlewich will be captured on TV and BIKE Channel will broadcast the race live.
