During archaeological works which took place on King Street in 2021, several key pieces of Roman evidence were uncovered which have added to the collective historical knowledge of our area. These key artefacts include a gold pendant, a funerary Urn, several sherds of Samian ware pottery and a timber-lined wall.
Join Paul Dunn from Oxford Archaeology North for a fascinating talk which will include a selection of items on display.
The talk will take place on Thursday 13th July at 7pm in the Victoria Hall, Civic Way, Middlewich.
