Draft Electric Vehicle (EV) Infrastructure Strategy

Draft Electric Vehicle (EV) Infrastructure Strategy

Cheshire East Council has committed to becoming carbon neutral by 2025 and improving local air quality. Our Local Transport Plan sets out a range of actions to decarbonise our transport network with a key element of this supporting the transition to electric vehicles (EVs).

Cheshire East Council has already invested in providing a number of electric vehicle charge points and we are currently working towards delivering a further 15 EV charging sites in 2023. However, there are still key gaps in the network within Cheshire East and we have developed a strategy to guide and support further roll out of EV charge points in the future by working alongside key partners.

We would like your opinions on whether this strategy and the actions we are proposing will help to achieve our aims.

Please respond by 22 December 2022.
