Historic England’s Heritage at Risk Register

Historic England’s Heritage at Risk Register 2021 has been released and for once Murgatroyd’s Brine Pumps are not on it!
A total of 233 historic sites have been saved last year, but unfortunately in Middlewich we still have St Michael’s and All Angels Church and the Town Centre Conservation Area still on this list.
I know the Parish Church Council are putting together funding bids for the next project on the church, we wish them well and they have our support at the Trust if needed.
Lets’ hope support for our town centre follows…
