We don’t have exclusive use of victoria hall now so we don’t have as much choice for days offered.

General info.

All children aged 5-11 are now eligible for a vaccine.

“spring boosters” :-

You need to be age 75 by the end of June 2022 to be eligible & should be around 6 months since your 1st booster. (Minimum of 3 months)

You can book ahead so email us if you don’t have a booking link , or you can “walk in” without an appointment.

Under 75s clinically vulnerable are not currently included in this spring booster group.

Info later in post for people who are immunosuppressed.

Middlewich Victoria Hall is “walk in” or booked appointment site .

All eligible patients aged 5years & above from any area can attend Middlewich including those not registered with a GP.

Booking is via text invite from GP or by emailing smash.bookings@nhs.uk

Text /sms invites will show as from “Oaklands medical centre” for non SMASH PCN patients.

**immunosuppressed patients**

Lots of people are getting letters to say they “may” be eligible for a 3rd primary then 4th dose. Please make sure you are eligible before going for a vaccine as we have had quite a lot of people arrive who were not eligible. This is frustrating for them.

To try and help :-

The criteria for the 3rd primary then 4th (booster) dose is that you were immunosuppressed when you had your 1st /2nd doses.

This group of immunosuppressed people may be eligible for a spring booster as long as it’s minimum of 3 months since last booster.

If you have become immunosuppressed after your 1st and 2nd doses / more recently you are eligible for a sprung booster as long as it’s at least 3 months since your 1st booster

If you are not sure ask your gp or email us on smash.bookings@nhs.net and we can advise.

Also, only the person who is immunosuppressed is eligible for the 4th /5th dose not people they live with.

For all vaccines please make sure you have the right gap between doses and the right gap after having covid

If you have recently had covid you need to wait 28 days if you are over 18 or in a high risk /vulnerable group , or if you are under 18 you need to wait 12 weeks .

We have a quiet area and 2 trolleys for people with anxiety or history of fainting.

We can do vaccination in the car if someone is unable to walk in due to limited mobility or has severe anxiety in large spaces.
