Town Clerk resigns

Middlewich Town Council is saddened to advise of the resignation of the Town Clerk, Mrs Lisa Benskin, who joined the Council in January 2020 and will leave on Friday 25 February 2022. Cllr Mike Hunter, Chairman of the Council said “Lisa has been a huge asset to the Council over the last two years and I genuinely believe this Council could have been in special measures had it not been for her hard work and determination in dealing with legacy issues to get the Council back on a legal footing and operating as it should be. The Councillors and I are extremely grateful to her for the dedication and commitment she has given to the town clerk role and we wish her every success in her future endeavours and new job.”
