The Information and Advice Service is delivered by Citizens Advice Services in Cheshire East. They provide free, confidential and independent information and advice to local people, proving help with benefits, debt, housing and employment. The service is funded by Cheshire East Council to help people manage their own income and finances.

The Local Authority and Health Partners who focus on mental health are developing an All Age Mental Health Strategy. The strategy will set out the work that the local authority and our partners will do to improve mental health and wellbeing in Cheshire East.

Results from this Pre-Consultation survey will be used to feed into the production of a draft strategy which will then be circulated for further consultation prior to the strategy being finalised.

Cheshire East Council has drafted a Communications Strategy for Residents which sets out how the council will communicate with residents. The strategy has been drafted based on feedback from Cheshire East residents gathered earlier this year.

As part of the Council’s commitment to improve air quality, Cheshire East wants to raise awareness of vehicle engine idling by engaging with the local community.
This survey aims to establish peoples general understanding of vehicle idling, as well as highlighting any idling issues within the Borough.
