NOTICE OF TEMPORARY FOOTWAY CLOSURE

S14 (2) ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers issues this notice temporarily to prohibit pedestrians in the following length of road:-

Subway under A54 St Michaels Way, Middlewich for its full extent

The alternative route will be via the following streets: – St Michaels Way

Cyclists will be required to dismount in order for access to maintained.

The closure is necessary for Cheshire East Highways to carry out investigation works

It is anticipated that the works will take place on the following date(s): Friday 10th December 2021 to Monday 13th December 2021.

This notice will become operative on Friday 10th December 2021 for a period of 21 days or for such less time as is necessary to enable the works to be completed, and may be extended by a further 21 days if necessary.
