Road Closure: St Michael’s Way – March 2022

The below closure is due to be sealed by CEC legal team on 03rd March 2022

 

St Michaels Way, Middlewich Ward, Middlewich, CW10 9

The closure is necessary to enable Cheshire East Highways to carry out resurfacing works

 

The alternative route will be via the following streets: – Chester Road, Northwich Road, Bostock Road, Bostock Road Roundabout, Davenham Bypass, Peckmill Roundabout, St Wilfrids Roundabout, London Road, Shurlach Road, Rudheath Roundabout, King Street Southbound, Morrisons Roundabout, King Street Dual Southbound, King Street, Centurion Way, Centurion Way Roundabout, Holmes Chapel Road Roundabout, Holmes Chapel Road and vice versa which is considered the most suitable route.

 

It is anticipated that the works will be carried out between Monday 21st March 2022 and Thursday 31st March 2022

WARMINGHAM LANE CLOSURE – AMENDED DATES

Warmingham Lane, Middlewich will now be closed between:

Wednesday 22nd September 2021 and Saturday 18th December 2021.

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

WARMINGHAM LANER,

MIDDLEWICH

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic as follows.

Prohibition of traffic – Warmingham Lane, Middlewich From the junction with Sycamore Drive to the junction with Forge Mill Lane.

The alternative route will be via Forge Mill Lane, Dragons Lane, Booth Lane, Warmingham Lane and visa versa which is considered the most suitable route.

This order will come into operation on Wednesday 25th August 2021 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Monday 15th November 2021.
